SYSTEM 3R’s new TRANSFORMER 3-axis 600 (T3- 600) is an innovative and flexible automation solution designed for a wide range of machine tools and applications.
Despite its compact size the solution’s robust three-axis design is able to handle transfer weights up to 600kg and, with an extended 2000mm X-axis that allows easy to large machine tables and a slim telescopic arm that can reach into tight workspaces, the Transformer T-3 600 is incredibly versatile and will have universal appeal.
Comparable industrial robots on the market often have payload limitations and use six axes which increases their size footprint and makes their installation and maintenance more demanding.
By enabling stationary or rail-mounted installation, the T3-600 operation and use can be scaled up effortlessly: from operating individual machines to linking over 20 machines in an automated cell.
The T3-600 handles SYSTEM 3R tooling systems, ranging from the small Macro 54mm x 54mm to Delphin 800mm x 800mm pallets for larger workpieces, and is compatible with a number of milling, grinding, EDM and laser machine tools.
Specific pneumatic grippers enable the quick and safe transport of lightweight components, like EDM electrodes or milling tools, between magazines and machines, enhancing machine autonomy and overall cell efficiency. Workflows are orchestrated via the Work ShopManager software, which coordinates even complex processes in automated cells.
The solution also supports industry-standard communication protocols, offering a unique blend of power, flexibility, and user-friendliness.
